Carol Moseley Braun Calling for Candidate Debates
December 9, 2010 -- Mayoral candidate Carol Moseley Braun is calling for at least three debates among top tier candidates in the weeks leading up to the February election. The first one should take place the week of January 3, 2011. They should be held in diverse neighborhoods throughout the city.
"Every Chicagoan deserves a chance to hear how their future Mayor plans to fight crime, improve schools and create jobs. No candidate should hide behind commercial advertising in an effort to sell vague ideas with no substance.”
